Over a decade ago, I had the opportunity to travel internationally with a youth soccer team—an experience that changed everything. At first, it was simply an adventure, a chance to see what soccer looked like outside our bubble. But what I witnessed was far more powerful than a tournament abroad. I watched young players step into stadiums and onto fields where the game felt bigger, louder, and filled with possibility. They weren’t just playing soccer—they were growing, transforming, and seeing the world through a wider lens.
That trip planted a seed.
I realized that these opportunities shouldn’t be limited to a select few. More players deserved the chance to experience soccer on the world stage—to feel the energy of international play, to connect with different cultures, and to discover the beauty of the game beyond borders. What started as a one-off idea became a vision, and that vision grew into what is now XPLORE Soccer.
